COMOSA 2025 marks the inaugural year in which two academic networks —the Vietnamese Climate Science and Environmental Modelling Network (VCSEMN) and the Vietnam Operations Research Network (VORN) under the Vietnam Institute for Advanced Study in Mathematics (VIASM) — jointly organize a unified forum. This interdisciplinary platform brings together researchers, practitioners, and students across fields related to optimization, modeling, simulation, analytics, and environmental systems. The primary objective is to foster collaboration, share insights, and explore innovative solutions to real-world challenges through discussions on the latest advancements and applications in these domains.

The conference seeks to address emerging and impactful computational challenges, with a focus on theoretical foundations, methodological advances, and real-world applications. We invite submissions of original and unpublished research contributions across theoretical, methodological, and applied domains. COMOSA 2025 will be hosted at VinUniversity in the vibrant city of Hanoi, Vietnam.

Accepted papers will be peer-reviewed and, upon acceptance and presentation, will be published in a volume of the Springer book series Optimization and Its Applications (indexed in Scopus, DBLP, and other major databases).

Selected papers will be invited for publication in Journal of Combinatorial Optimization and Applied Network Science.

Target Audience:

  • Graduate and postgraduate students with an interest in these areas.

Authors who are interested in the above topics can submit their unpublished work to COMOSA 2025. A clear indication of the motivation and comparison with prior related work should be presented. Simultaneous submission to a journal or another conference with refereed proceedings is not allowed.
